The Cuban delegation won one gold medal, which went to José Antonio Guerra in the individual platform contest. Guerra and Jeinkler Aguirre also won the title in the synchronized competition.

In the former, Guerra scored 529.50 points, followed by China's Hao Zhang (478.60) and Ukraine's Konstantin Milyayev (473.50).

In the synchronized platform contest, the Cuban pair scored 438.12 points, enough to defeat China's Hao Zhang and Ziyi Zhang (419.34), and Belarus's Kaptur Vadim and Hordeichic Timofei (400.38).

The Grand Prix was attended by competitors from 15 countries. Cuba was also represented by Abel Ramírez, who competed in the three-meter springboard contest, in which he finished 15th.
