For anyone that will be visiting the beautiful country of Cuba, the Hotel Occidental Miramar is one of the great symbols of the Cuban tourist industry. Great location, service, care and facilities, with great staff management and lots of services available. Two years ago I went to this hotel as part of a delegation from Venezuela to participate at the University 2008 conference and my friends and I were lucky to have stayed at this elegant hotel. I came across this page today, and just had to express my opinion on this great hotel. In conclusion, anyone who stays at this hotel will never forget their experience, just like they will never forget Cuba. Congratulations, I hope to come back soon! |

Me and my husband Eduardo travelled to Cuba two years ago (November 2006). It was a great trip and we fell in love with your country. The people are incredible, friendly, attentive, and very polite. Our stay at the hotel was great; the pool at night spectacular. Breakfast and diner was exquisite, I hope they keep up the good work. We were so happy with our stay that, God willing, we will come back in October 2008. Thanks,

The room is good and the hotel is excellent except their food, no matter breakfast or dinner. As we stayed three nights there, it seems the menu was only changed a little bit. By the way, you have to pay drinks for dinner including WATER. |

Everything is excellent, the only thing I didn't like was the breakfast, we had to leave early in the morning and we ask for a stand, the coffe was cold, the juice had a lot of water, with ice, no taste no sugar, no bread, only oily pastry.
We talk with the personnel in charge and they didn't do anything. Finally we pay for nothing to eat.

I spent a number of truly comfortable days at this great hotel, great not only because of its monumental architecture but also and above all because of the quality of the services it offers at all times, from arrival to checkout time.
The rooms are large and very well decorated. The swimming pool is sensational (even at night). The souvenir sale services and money exchange locale are fairly good and the breakfasts, lunches and dinners are top notch. I've returned to my country with very pleasant memories of Cuba and eager to return.
My congratulations to our Cuban friends, who make this hotel the magnificent, safe and comfortable place that it is.
