I never got the chance to write about my vacation to Cuba back in March of 2006. I was incredible, both the hotel and the staff were awesome. Everything was perfect, the white sand beaches, delicious food, great care from the staff and the entertainment group, very clean, comfortable, great shows, dancing, all in all UNBEATABLE. The only complaint I have is that the postcards we sent from the hotel never arrived to our family members back home, I really don\t know whose fault this was. I recommend this hotel for families with kids, it is very safe and relaxed...I hope I will be able to bring my kids here one day. |

this was our second time at club cojimar and was even better than the first time great people great food great country.some people had complained about food poisoning when infact they had caught it on the plane if you want quiet and relaxing this place is idylic |

My Mum and I spent two glorious weeks at the Gran Caribe Club Cojimar in September 2007.
We could not fault anything in that fabulous fortnight (except I flew out to Cuba with a bad cold)!
The staff are simply wonderful, the accomadation in spacious and clean.
The beaches are like paradise. You really think that Robinson Crusoe will walk around the corner at any minute....
The food is great. Because of the trading embargo with the USA, the food is not really that westernised, but it is fresh (excellent fish, king prawns, crab, lobster etc), good meat, home grown vegtables and produce. There are pasta dishes, chips if that is what you would like, and a great big smile from all of the Cuban people.
The Cubans may not have much in the way of money or material things this being a communist country, but they are extremely happy, and that rubs off on you. We should take a leaf out of their book, we would be much more content. Oh, and by the way, I am booked to go again at the end of September 2009! I cannot wait... Book now and go, you will not regret it. |

This was my 2nd visit to this amazing place, however my first visit to the Cojimar. What an amazing two weeks, we could not have wished for a better time. Alex,the Thomas Cook Rep, is fantastic, nothing is too much trouble, he is brilliant! As are all of the staff, we have made friends with a few staff members and are going back to visit them next year. The hotel is fantastic, beautiful refurbished rooms (with air-con that is a must!!) with a view that is to die for! The staff at the hotel will do anything for you and are so friendly and efficient. Overall an absoloutley amazing 2 weeks!! |

I booked the cojimar as last minute deal had recently moved house and needed break, what a break we had. Alex our rep was really welcoming, nothing too much trouble but that also applies to hotel staff. Beach was amazing such white sand had slight hurricane warning whilst there had already hit Haiti, staff were so helpful making sure we had upto date info met wonderful friends there my daughter didn't want to leave will definetely be back . |
