I have just come back from one of the bests vacations I have ever taken. I went away with my two children, aged 12 & 16. We were in a nice large clean room in section 15. The pools were very warm and always something to keep the kids busy. The Beach was down the long path yet was the cleanest, white beach with again nice warm water. The kids did very much enjoy the glass bottom boat ride from our beach.
The Disco does get a bit loud so if you want a quieter night get a room away from the Disco, but we had no problem with it. We went on the "Jeep Safari" and it was THE BEST excursion if you luv to have a full day of fun with the kids/or without. The food was good for me yet the kids being picky spend alot of time at the 24 hour food bar eating grilled cheese and fries. The staff were very nice and were great with my kids. I met many nice people of all ages and I know we all had good words to say of the resort. Overall I had a great time and I am already planning the dates for our next visit back in a few months. Ottimo resort ubicato in un vero e proprio paradiso terrestre; una spiaggia meravigliosa, sembra quasi vergine. Ottime le abitazioni, noi avevamo scelto una minisuit vicino alla zona piscina, abbastanza pulita e molto spaziosa.
Ottima la cucina dei ristoranti buffet (ce ne sono 2) e ben assortita, un punto in meno invece ai ristoranti alla carta che non sono molto assortiti e i cibi troppo elaborati. Merita il piatto di aragosta anche se non è inclusa nel pacchetto all inclusive (non capisco il motivo visto che il costo non è eccessivamente alto).
Voto negativo alle attività serali: mi aspettavo di trovare musica cubana e possibilità di ballare salsa però niente di tutto questo; unico divertimento notturno una discoteca con musica internazionale di scarsa qualità. Fuori del resort solo natura incontaminata, d'altronde siamo in un cayo. |

Hola , just came back from nh Krystal sept.19/2009 . Second time this yeat and 9 times since they opened in 2001 .Stayed in Emperador side with junior suites . One side was open only .Excellent service at reception desk and bus boy took us to our room , block 37 , second floor .10 friends shared the same floor .First morning the water pressure was low but great the rest of the week . The staff was really helpful , as usual , and Adonis , and Ana were a great help . Animation team with Luis as leader and m.c. were at their best . Shows every night with super dancers . Food was pretty good for low season . Had reserved specialty restaurants every night , even v.i.p. ( men wear long pants in v.i.p.).Exchange was = $100.00 Cdn, you get 80 convertable pesos .There is a bank at the airport and at the complex . Beach is clean and the best anywhere . A few jelly fish this time but very rare usually . Bring vinegar which takes away the sting and musquito repellent in case you get any . No rain all week except one night . There is a 24 hour bar in the main lobby . Ther is a KIDS room with someone to keep them occupied .Beach boys will reserve your chair if you ask them a day before . Snorkeling,banana boat,beach volleyball,paddle boat,aqua gym,arobic classes,a gym , para gliding , pool games , latin and salsa lessons , game room etc. All available . Beach towels are available but if you lose one , 25 pesos . Also a safety deposit box is in your room . Must see , bottle juggler Wilbur , at the cigar lounge . He's amazing . Cubans are amazing people , talk to them . The complex is safe . No locals live on the island and there is lots of security . You can have a romantic dinner on the beach for 25 pesos . They serve lobster and beef and other good stuff . Reserve at the service office in the main lobby .Don't forget the 25 pesos each for departing tax at the airport . The buffet is open for breakfast,lunch and supper . Also a grill bar at the beach for food and drinks . In high season , there is a beach bar . We stayed in all three buildings , villas,Laguna and Emperador sides and we probably like the Junior suites ( Emparador ) the best . we had a wonderful time during the stay at NH Krystal for 11 nights in early July 2009. Even thought, it was not above the expectations, there was not any complains regards to the resort. the buffet was awesome and my favorite was the breakfast buffet. nice and friendly staffs all over the hotels. the staffs and people are very friendly and honest. only thing that i would suggest is to have more shows to be available and more entertainment for kids. the beach was so beautiful. and the pools are good and not to mention very clean. the rooms are very big and functional. sitting at the lobby at very night time is one of my other favorite. the mosquito go most of my blood even with the spray but that is ok. they were forgiven. we had a blast time at Cuba. cannot wait for the otherone |
